The activity displays a field of asteroids flying around, each labeled with a number. A math problem is displayed at the bottom of the screen, and the user must shoot the asteroid that contains the answer to the problem. When the correct asteroid is shot, it will turn into a gem and display the number of points the user has obtained, which depends on how close to the "fourth wall" the asteroid is when it is shot. If it is shot while it is very far away, it will yield 150 points; if it is shot when it is very nearby, it will yield 75 points; in-between, it will yield 100 points. If an incorrect asteroid is shot, it will turn into a pile of dust. Spaceships are also flying around which will give the user bonus points when shot.
The user clicks to shoot.

Use your Magic Space-Mining Laser to shoot the rocks that display the correct numbers and watch them turn into amazing glittering crystals. But watch out! If you shoot the wrong ones, they will just blow away like mere piles of dust. Earn more points by preventing other space ships from taking away your crystals.
