Cappy

Cappy is a male sea turtle character who first appeared in the JumpStart 3D Virtual World series.

Appearance[]

Cappy has blueish-green scaly skin, a grayish-brown mustache and large grayish brown eyebrows, and a dark green shell with large lime green spots. He wears a blue turtleneck sweater and an orange cap.

Personality[]

Cappy is a sailor who is somewhat gruff, but still pleasant. He likes peace and quiet. He frequently uses sailor lingo, such as "ahoy, matey". He is an old friend of Jean Claude, and the brother of Pops. The description of Cappy in the digital manual for JumpStart 3D Virtual World: Quest for the Color Meister says, "Cappy is the sea captain of JS Toot. Unfortunately, it sank to the bottom of Sunny Shores years ago. Although he might seem rough at first, he really is a friendly guy when you get to know him."

JumpStart 3D Virtual World: Trouble in Town[]

Cappy is one of the characters that the player can interact with and receive missions from. He ended up on Sunny Shores after he shipwrecked there, and remained there for a long time, isolated from everyone else. One of the tasks in the game is reuniting Cappy with Pops.

JumpStart 3D Virtual World: Quest for the Color Meister[]

Like in the previous game, Cappy can be found in Sunny Shores.

JumpStart 3D Virtual World: My First Adventure[]

Cappy appears in the beach area. He introduces himself as a lifeguard.

World of JumpStart[]

Cappy can be found in the Caverns in MarineLand. Upon meeting the player, he explains that he'd lived peacefully in the Caverns for years after his boat crashed there, but he was disrupted when Punk-Punks invaded the Caverns. He will give the player missions to complete.

Cappy also briefly appears in a cutscene introducing the player to AdventureLand, in which he is seen piloting a submarine to transport Eleanor and Pierre to AdventureLand.
