Zack is a male human character who debuted in JumpStart Adventures 6th Grade: Mission EarthQuest, alongside his sister Jess. He is depicted as a member of EarthQuest and the Spy Masters.
Appearance[]
Zack is a blonde-haired boy. In Mission EarthQuest, he has spiky, unkempt-looking blond hair, while in the Spy Masters games, his hair is smooth and combed. He wears power gloves in both Mission EarthQuest and Adventure Challenge.
Personality and Characteristics[]
In 6th Grade, Zack seems to have a more aggressive, less calculating attitude than his sister Jess. He often makes jokes and teasing or mocking comments.
In the Spy Masters games, he retains his fondness for humor, but seems to have a very laid-back personality. He seems more sensible and less likely to get worked up about things.
In the late 90s, the JumpStart website contained an online profile for Zack pertaining to his appearance in JumpStart 6th Grade, which stated that he is 15 years old (one year younger than Jess), and that he is heavily into history and classical literature. The profile states that he aspires to be a hero and can be somewhat melodramatic about it, but he keeps in mind that all heroes need great plans before acting. It also says that he is more laid-back than Jess, whom he enjoys making fun of, and that his hobbies include reading, writing, and dreaming.[1]

Zack and Jess are members of the EarthQuest team. With the help of Uncle Eli, they must help thwart the schemes of the malicious artificial intelligence A.R.T.. The player can choose Zack as their partner during missions.

Zack and Jess appear in the activities Mountain Mayhem and World Wide Glide. The player can choose whether they'd like to play with Zack or Jess.
