This is a list of pre-release and unused content pertaining to JumpStart Advanced 2nd Grade: Fundamentals.
Hopsalot's Invention Lab Pre-release Image[]
A promotional trailer for the JumpStart Advanced series from the JumpStart Activity CD included a pre-release image of the Hopsalot's Invention Lab activity. The image depicts what appears to be a construction site with a locked gate in the background. This background is never seen in the final game.
Unused Graphics[]
The game's HTML manual folder has a sub-folder labeled 2G_Images which contains several unused images depicting early designs of locations that differ from their in-game counterparts. Some of the differences are as follows:
The unused manual image for Australia depicts a kangaroo marking on a rock not seen in the final release.
The unused manual image for New Orleans depicts a piano in place of the tents.
The unused manual image for Brazil depicts a drastically different design for Lucy, as well as slightly different designs for CJ and Edison.
The unused manual image for Antarctica has the sign outside of the doctor's office say "D.R.I.Cycle", when it reads "Dr. Lucicle" in-game.
The unused manual image that shows CJ's house sinking into the swamp contains several details that were removed for the final release, such as a row of mice, a chair floating in the water, and streams of water coming out of various parts of CJ's house.
The unused manual image of the JumpStart Lake in the third invention lab depicts it as having been turned into cubes of Jello rather than ice cubes.
