Picture Playtime is an activity in JumpStart Toddlers (1999). It is designed to teach art concepts for toddlers.

Description[]

In DeeDee's Grandma's kitchen, the player can create pictures with paint and stickers. The player can either start with a blank canvas, or choose one of the templates to color in. The player can save up to ten of their most recently created pictures.

This activity doesn't have difficulty levels.

Digital manual description[]

Here you can paint, color and have fun with stickers. There are pictures from the game or you can create your own.

In this activity, you can use the keyboard or the mouse:

  • Using the keyboard: Press a key to place a random sticker on the drawing area.
  • Using the mouse: Move the cursor to the item you wish to select and click.
    • Color Palette - Click on the color you wish to paint with.
    • Paint Bucket - Click on the bucket to fill in a picture section with your selected paint color
    • Brush - Click on the brush to paint or draw with your selected paint color
    • Eraser - Click on the eraser to erase parts of your drawing.
    • Printer - Click on the printer to print a picture.
    • Picture (Red) Album - Using the cursor, click on this book to cycle through the pictures that are available to color. A blank page is also available for you to create your own pictures and drawings.
    • "My Pictures" (Blue) Album - Here is where you can find your last ten saved pictures.
    • Sticker Selection - Click here to cycle through the available sticker sets. When you find a sticker you like, click on it and move it to the drawing area. Click again to place it where you want on the picture.
    • Canvas - This is where you draw, paint and place stickers.
