Sir Sournote is the main antagonist of JumpStart Music.
Appearance
Sir Sournote has green skin, purple eyelids, blue hair and a blue goatee, and a dark green mustache and eyebrows. He always has pale yellow-green earplugs in his ears. Several of his teeth have vertical black bars which makes them resemble piano keys. He has shoulder pads that resemble cymbals, and his body looks like a drum with a musical note with a slash through it.
Personality
Not much is known about Sir Sournote, other than the fact that he's evil and despises music, but he seems to be the only resident of the Land of Music who does.
In the Game
Sir Sournote is determined to ruin music in the Land of Music. He has minions called violin villains sour all of the musical notes, which makes the music sound terrible. Hopsalot sets out to foil his plan by collecting the sour notes and bringing them to the concert hall to make them sweet again. Sir Sournote will sometimes appear in cutscenes where he views Hopsalot with a crystal ball. In the ending cutscene, he attempts to re-sour the music after they're made sweet again, but some sweet notes use magic on him to make him vanish. In the post-ending cutscene, he appears in Hopsalot's classroom as the new music teacher and he changed his name to Mr. Sweetnote.
