The Treasure Tree is an activity in JumpStart 2nd Grade. It is accessed by clicking on the tree branch from the clubhouse. It is designed to teach math and language arts concepts for second grade.

Description[]

The player must make matches by clicking on the fruit. Each time a fruit is clicked, something is revealed. The player must make matches with pairs, such as the word "fifty-two" and the number "52". The goal is find all of the matching pairs in the fruit. Different fruits appear on the tree between rounds. It also has a pen pal about the worm.

This activity doesn't contain difficulty levels.

  • Click on the tree beyond window at the back of the Clubhouse.
  • Click on the fruit to discover what's inside and find matching pairs.
  • The goal is to match all of the fruit.
  • When all the pairs are matched, you will continue on to a new round.

This game offers a way to practice concentration and to enhance memory at your own pace. Language Arts topics covered include types of words such as synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, compound words and rhyming words. Mathematics topics include numbers as words, fractions, and geometric shapes. Plus, there is a section dealing with time.
