Once inside the Time Machine Mission Control, the user has to get past the Wheel of Invention in order to acquire a Time Key and enter the Time Machine itself, though Polly has apparently reprogrammed the Wheel so it's not just a quiz, but rather a quiz show called "Pollywood Squares". The Mission Clues collected by the player appear in four slots in the wheel, each one somehow connected to the information the player needs for their mission. Once a piece of information is obtained, the wheel changes to a different clue. Here, Monty Monitor quizzes the user with questions that provide the point in time where Polly has sent the missing robot and which eventually reveal the correct answer to Polly's original test question.
Digital manual description
All the Mission Clues are loaded into the Wheel when you arrive at Time Machine Mission Control, and you're ready to begin. Just listen to Monty Monitor - he's really up on his history facts, and lots of other subjects as well - and answer three of his questions for each Mission Clue. When you answer them correctly, you'll be given a year, a place, and a person's name, along with the invention. In the end, you'll also win a Time Key.
